Some of these images were commissions for the WWF Forests For Life others just done for the love of the place, Bialowieza in Eastern Poland being one such place.

Bialowieza is the last 450 hectares left of a primeval forest that once covered all of Europe. Accordingly it has been designated an UNESCO world heritage site populated with Bison, Wolves, Beavers, Otters and as many birds species in the forest as there are in the whole of the UK.

The images were taken on Fuji Velvia film on an Art Panorama 6x17cms camera with a Schneider Super Angulon 90mm lens.
